LOGAN is a community organization which provides advocacy, services and resources for children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Since 1950, LOGAN has been here for families, expanding to meet changing needs through ventures like the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism. Now reaching more than 1,500 families each year, LOGAN provides a full range of services from therapies and specialty camps for children to employment, training, recreation and community living options for teens and adults. At the very heart of LOGAN is advocacy which fuels our work within the community to increase resources and opportunities for people with disabilities.

LOGAN Board of Directors Member, Richard “Dick” Nussbaum, is not only a member of LOGAN’s Board of Directors, but also serves as Chair for LOGAN’s Governance Committee. He has practiced law for over 46 years including roles within State and City Government in Indiana as well as Partner at Sopko, Nussbaum, Inabnit, & Kaczmarek. Dick’s affiliation as a Hannah & Friends Board Member in addition to his brother, Robby, inspired him to become a LOGAN Board Member and help individuals and their families who face developmental challenges. Dick and his wife, Mary Pat, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. A University of Notre Dame Undergraduate and Law School alum, as well as Notre Dame enthusiast, Dick enjoys attending events at Notre Dame, walking around ND’s campus with Mary Pat and spending time with his family.
