In honor of “National Police Week” we’re sharing photos from the police memorial plaza located at Mishawaka City Hall. Completed in 2023, the plaza was designed as a space to hold ceremonies. It features aesthetically pleasing and functional lighting, creative landscaping, and a central monument with a unique light source that can send a beam of blue into the night sky. The walkway design emulates sun rays found in the City of Mishawka seal, and existing memorial benches were arranged around the site to extend it beyond the central plaza.
