We got the chance to interact with 7th graders from all over Elkhart County and help them understand a little about banking. Meet Jewel and her 5 babies! Jewel is just a baby herself, but found herself outside in a trailer park with 5 newborn kittens. Luckily a Good Samaritan saw them and brought them to us for help! Jewel is a real sweetheart and absolutely loves people. She is so happy to be living the indoor life. Her babies are also looking for their forever indoor homes. They are great with kids! They have all been spayed/neutered, had fvrcp vaccine, Jewel has had her rabies vaccine (the babies aren’t old enough), been tested for leukemia and fiv, dewormed and microchipped.
